Asian-American: An Identity Book

For this project, I catalogued products that I consumed over a thirty-day period. I discovered that the things I ate, watched, and celebrated was divided into two cultures: Asian and American. Not only did I eat rice and pork, but also steak and potatoes. I celebrated New Year's in January by watching the ball drop, and also in February with lion-dances and lanterns.

In result, I made a book of vector illustrations to represent the entity of an Asian-American. On one side of the spread represents Asian culture, and on the other side represents American culture. I've included a few of the spreads.
